Apple have opened 19 stores across Australia and with the all new Adelaide Apple store that list now makes 20.

The new Adelaide Apple store will open to the public on Saturday (25 May 2013) at 10am.

Details revealed via AdelaideNow include:

  • The Adelaide Apple store has 120 ‘touch points’ for customers to try out the latest iPhones, Macs and iPads;
  • The Adelaide Apple store has over 100 employees
  • The first 1000 customers at the Adelaide Apple store will receive a commemorative T-shirt;
  • Those buying iPhones can optionally be connected with their preferred telco in-store, so their phones will be ready for use immediately;
  • Two tables for children to play with Apple iPads;
  • The Adelaide store has an iCloud demonstration area where customers can learn how to coordinate all their Apple devices;
  •  The Largs Bay School will be the first to visit the store under Apple’s “Field Trip” program, allowing students to do school projects in-store.
  • Shoppers will be able to make purchases without queuing by using the Apple Store app to scan barcodes with their iPhones and pay through their iTunes accounts.
  • The store has a “Genius Bar” for tech support and repairs.
  • Customers will be able to check in for appointments on arrival via their iPhones, and sign up for free in-store ‘workshops’.
  • The Adelaide Apple store will open its doors Saturday at 10am.
